The influences aren't hard to trace. On one side: Ludovico Einaudi, Max Richter, Hania Rani, Ólafur Arnalds — composers who find something vast in something quiet.

On the other: Hans Zimmer, Lorne Balfe, Trevor Morris, Brian Tyler — music built for impact and for scale.

For years Xander searched for music that lived between those worlds. Melancholic and sentimental, but with weight and darkness underneath. Intimate, but capable of scale. He couldn't find it — so he built it. That's where Cinematic-Classical came from.

Piano sits at the heart of most compositions. Solo cello follows closely. Viola — used as a lead voice rather than support — appears throughout in a way that's become something of a signature. Synths, percussion, and guitar weave through where the music calls for it.
